Digital strategies for our customers

To succeed in the new digital era and Industry 4.0, businesses require a strong digital presence, data-rich solutions, and customer-driven innovation.

“BIRGER. accompanies its customers in the new digital era.”

The hybrid work model is nowadays a reality in the new ways of collaboration for organisations. Remote work, through digital channels and online business transactions, is becoming prominent. Innovation and emerging technologies are key factors for organisations to target new markets with business growth opportunities.

Among emerging trends, we can find wireless and high-speed technologies designed for various use-cases such as office Wi-Fi, mobile device services, Internet of Things (IoT) protocols, and Edge Computing that will leverage on 5G networks. The underlying backend systems and network infrastructure will play a vital role in this ecosystem, hence the importance of investing in next-generation equipment. The adoption of cloud computing platforms or software as a service (SaaS) will allow organisations to reduce the deployment time of new solutions, enabling them to differentiate themselves in their markets.

The adoption of Artificial Intelligence (AI) whilst leveraging on data, and automation processes to orchestrate their data with real-time analytics are and will be paramount in the digital transformation of an organisation.

A major constraint is the shortage of expertise, which can be overcome by the introduction of immersive technologies. Among the most relevant one is the "metaverse". It refers to a virtual world, a 3D universe in which an individual can interact with subject matter experts through his/her avatar or hologram.

As a key player in technology in various sectors, at BIRGER., we consider the Metaverse as a new paradigm for organisations. We are among the first digital players in the region to engage in this new universe through our virtual business centre in the Metaverse. We invite you to join us there for a guided tour of BIRGER. Mth Floor.

Before engaging in a digital transformation journey, organisations should assess their digital strengths and weaknesses to determine their level of digital maturity compared to that of their competitors, their industry, and, if possible to the national digital maturity. Tools are available to determine different levels of maturity: high, moderate, and low, or other categories such as traditional, emerging, engaged, competitive, and mature.

Organisations with strong digital capabilities are able to make timely decisions to serve their customers better, deploy new business models and adapt to this new digital era with greater agility and resiliency. Consequently, this translates into cost savings and generates better cash flows than their competitors who are less mature. Digitally matured organisations will also have a strong customer focus.
